Al Faisal A/C Spare Parts Trading LLC is a Dubai-based HVAC wholesale supplier that has been exporting to Africa since 2005. For Kenyan buyers, our supply route is simple: we pack your order at our Deira warehouse, book it into the next available LCL consolidation from Jebel Ali, and it arrives at Mombasa port 10–16 days later with a complete document set ready for KRA clearance.

What makes this work for Kenyan HVAC importers is the product range. From one Dubai supplier you can cover everything your business needs — compressors for the brands your workshops service, refrigerant gas in all four types the Kenyan market requires, ACR copper pipe in every size, and the spare parts that keep Nairobi and upcountry systems running. One invoice, one shipment, one clearing process at Mombasa.

💡 Refrigerant gas ships with your other goods. R22, R410A, R32 and R134a are DG Class 2 — compressed gas — and consolidate in the same container as compressors, copper pipe and spare parts. We prepare the DG declaration and all required shipping documents. You receive one complete document set covering everything in the shipment for Mombasa port clearance.

What Al Faisal Supplies to Kenya

Kenya’s AC market is primarily split systems — LG, Samsung, Midea, Haier and Gree in residential, with Daikin, Carrier, Hitachi and Mitsubishi in commercial buildings, hotels and offices. The service and repair market still runs heavily on R22, while new equipment is R410A or R32. Cold rooms — floriculture, food storage, pharmaceutical — add a separate refrigeration layer that many Nairobi workshops also service.

Al Faisal stocks for all of this.

AC Compressors

Rotary and scroll compressors from GMCC, Invotech, LG and Highly — the brands that power the split AC systems sold across Kenya. We stock the full residential capacity range from 0.75 ton to 5 ton, in both standard and inverter variants, matched to the refrigerant types in the Kenyan market. For coastal installations in Mombasa and Malindi, we stock T3-rated compressors certified for 52°C ambient — a specification that matters significantly in Kenya’s coastal climate and that many Dubai suppliers do not clearly differentiate.

Refrigerant Gas

R22, R410A, R32 and R134a — all four types the Kenyan market requires, in one consolidated shipment. R22 remains essential for Kenya’s large installed base of older residential and commercial systems. R410A covers the current generation of split AC sold in Kenya. R32 is the refrigerant in a growing share of new inverter units. R134a serves refrigeration and automotive AC — a significant workshop revenue stream in Nairobi. We supply all four from a single order.

Copper Pipe & Tube

ACR-grade dehydrated copper pipe in coil and straight lengths — 1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″, 5/8″ and 3/4″ — covering every standard size used in Kenyan residential and light commercial AC installation. We stock NWM, Westron and Mueller. Westron is Al Faisal’s own UAE-origin brand, manufactured to ACR standard and priced for the import economics of East African buyers. Copper coil ships efficiently in LCL alongside compressors and gas.

Spare Parts — All Brands

Fan motors, run and start capacitors, PCB control boards, drain pumps, expansion valves and contactors — for LG, Samsung, Midea, Haier, Gree, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, Daikin, Carrier and O General systems. Kenyan workshops that source spare parts through Al Faisal access a range that is simply not available through local Nairobi suppliers, at wholesale pricing that makes monthly Dubai consolidation commercially practical.

HVAC Tools

Sigma vacuum pumps, manifold gauge sets, flaring tools, electronic charging scales, brazing torches and leak detectors. Tools are general cargo — no dangerous goods classification — and consolidate freely with the rest of your Kenya order. Kenyan workshops setting up or replacing worn equipment can add tools to any compressor and gas order without a separate shipment.

Insulation & Installation Materials

Rubber pipe insulation for suction lines, Westron aluminium foil tape and canvas cloth for external pipe runs. In Mombasa’s coastal humidity, an uninsulated suction line drips condensation continuously through the cooling season — damaging ceilings and walls in apartments and commercial buildings. Proper insulation with sealed joints is a basic installation standard. These materials ship alongside pipe and compressors in consolidated Kenya loads.

Nairobi vs Mombasa — Why the Climate Difference Matters for Your Order

Kenya is not a single climate. Nairobi sits at 1,795 metres above sea level — its ambient temperatures rarely exceed 27°C, and AC systems installed there operate at relatively modest load. Standard compressors handle Nairobi without issue.

Mombasa is a different environment entirely. Coastal, humid and regularly hitting 35–38°C ambient in peak season, the outdoor units on Mombasa’s buildings face conditions that standard compressors are not rated for. The IEC climate classification system defines T1 compressors as rated to 43°C ambient and T3 compressors as rated to 52°C. What matters in practice is that a condenser unit operating in 37°C ambient with restricted airflow — a rooftop unit with a wall behind it, or a unit in a poorly ventilated plant room — can easily reach 45–48°C at the condenser. A T1 compressor is outside its rated envelope. A T3 compressor is not.

⚠️ Always specify T3 for Mombasa, Malindi, Kilifi and the coastal strip

The unit cost difference between a T1 and T3 compressor is small. The cost of a compressor failure 18 months into a Mombasa installation — parts, labour, customer disruption, and the reputational damage of a callback — is not. Al Faisal clearly identifies T3 compressors in our stock and can advise on the correct T3 equivalent for any common Kenyan AC brand. Tell us the brand, model and capacity and we match the right compressor to it.

How the Import Process Works — Dubai to Kenya

Most Kenyan buyers start with a WhatsApp message. Send us your list — compressor models, gas types and cylinder quantities, copper pipe sizes, spare part references — and we come back within 24 hours with a consolidated quote covering product pricing and Dubai-Mombasa freight. From there the process is straightforward.

Step 1 — Send Your List

WhatsApp your order to +971 55 874 7919. Include compressor model numbers, refrigerant types and quantities, copper pipe sizes, and any spare part references or brand/model details. The more specific you are, the more accurate the quote. First-time buyers are welcome to describe what they need by brand and application — we help identify the right products.

Step 2 — Receive Your Quote

We return a consolidated quote within 24 hours — all product lines, Jebel Ali to Mombasa LCL freight estimate, and DG documentation cost for refrigerant gas. You compare total landed cost against local Nairobi pricing before committing. No obligation at this stage.

Step 3 — Payment & Packing

Payment by bank transfer. Once confirmed, we pack, prepare the commercial invoice, packing list and DG declaration for gas, and book the LCL slot in the next Jebel Ali–Mombasa vessel. Most Kenya orders ship within 3–5 working days of payment.

Step 4 — Mombasa Arrival

Transit is 10–16 days Jebel Ali to Mombasa. We send the full document set — bill of lading, commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, DG manifest — for your clearing agent. Buyers without an established Mombasa clearing agent should arrange one before the shipment departs Dubai.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a minimum order for Kenyan buyers?

There is no fixed minimum order value. However, the economics of LCL sea freight mean that very small orders — below approximately USD 2,000–3,000 in product value — carry a high freight cost as a proportion of total spend. Most Kenyan buyers consolidate monthly or bi-monthly orders to optimise this. For smaller or urgent requirements, air freight from Dubai to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International is available — practical for spare parts and tools, less economical for heavy items like compressors and gas cylinders. WhatsApp us your list and we advise on the best approach for your order size.

Can refrigerant gas consolidate with compressors and spare parts in the same container?

Yes. Refrigerant gas is DG Class 2 and ships in LCL consolidation with general cargo — compressors, copper pipe and spare parts — in the same container, subject to correct DG segregation and documentation. Al Faisal prepares the full DG document set. The Kenyan buyer receives a complete document package for Mombasa port clearance covering both DG and general cargo items. This consolidated approach is how the majority of our Kenyan buyers ship — one container, one document set, one clearance process.

How long does a shipment from Dubai to Kenya take?

Sea freight Jebel Ali to Mombasa is 10–16 days transit, depending on vessel schedule and whether the service is direct or with transshipment. Add 3–5 working days for packing and loading in Dubai after payment confirmation, and 3–7 days for Mombasa port clearance and inland delivery — total door-to-door is typically 3–5 weeks. For urgent requirements, air freight Dubai to Nairobi delivers in 48–72 hours. Air freight suits spare parts and tools well; compressors and gas are better moved by sea for cost efficiency.

Why do I need T3 compressors for the Kenyan coast — and how do I identify them?

T3 is an IEC climate classification (IEC 60335-2-40) for compressors rated to operate at ambient temperatures up to 52°C. T1 is rated to 43°C. The distinction matters in Mombasa because the actual operating temperature at a condenser unit — factoring in the condenser’s own heat rejection and restricted installation airflow — routinely exceeds what the ambient reading suggests. A T3 compressor uses heavier motor windings, a higher-specification refrigerant oil and a higher-rated pressure relief valve compared to a T1 unit of the same capacity. On the compressor label, look for the T3 marking or the operating ambient range in the specifications. At Al Faisal we identify T3 stock clearly and match the correct model to any common Kenyan AC brand — tell us the brand, capacity and refrigerant type.

Do you supply automotive AC compressors for the Kenyan vehicle market?

Yes. Kenya’s vehicle fleet — heavily Japanese-origin, including Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi and Isuzu — generates strong demand for Denso and Sanden automotive AC compressors. We stock both brands covering the most common applications in the Kenyan market. Automotive compressors consolidate in the same shipment as residential AC compressors, gas and spare parts — there is no need for a separate order or shipment.
